The Bicentennial Mural is a project sponsored by the Rawson City Hall Ceramics Studio. The mural is "a work of art, which shows not only our country’s bicentennial but through the language of art and brotherhood, we can create a more peaceful world." The mural is a global project with tiles by artists around the world invited to submit work which alludes to the revolution on 25 May, 1810, that lead to independance 6 years later. The completed Mural for the Bicentenniale will be installed in public buildings in Rawson, Argentina durung 2011.
